JACKSON, Miss.-The Belhaven men's golf team finished 10th in the Millsaps Collegiate Invitational held at the Deerfield Country Club. The Blazers had a team score of 664 over the two day event.

Viktor Heurlin fired a team low 159 in his two rounds on the course, including a 78 in the opening round on Monday. Alex Grote followed Heurlin with a score of 166 and a low round of 79. Andrew Bartelt, Ian McAdams, and Isaac Tipton rounded out the field with scores of 171, 172, and 172 respectively.

The host school Millsaps, took home the team championship with a final score of 588, out pacing second place Centenary College who shot 622. Lewis Peters of Millsaps was also the individual champion with a tournament low 141. Peters fired a low round of 69 on Tuesday to clinch the championship.

Belhaven will be back in action on November 5th in the University of Mobile Invitational.
