Cleveland, MS-The Belhaven men's golf team opened the 2011 Fall schedule at the Derrall Foreman Invitational hosted by Delta State University at the Cleveland Country Club. The two round event concluded on Saturday with Belhaven finishing ninth as a team. Delta State won the tournament edging out the University of North Alabama by one stroke.

The Blazers top finisher was Viktor Heurlin who shot eight over par for his two rounds. Heurlin had a solid round of 73 on Friday and then shot a 79 on Saturday. Zack Day of the University of Mobile and Jake Greer of North Alabama tied for first with scores of five under in the tournament.

Belhaven will take the course again on November 10th and 11th at the Indian Bayou Classic in Destin, FL which is hosted by the University of North Alabama.
