Madison, MS-The Belhaven men's golf team finished sixth at the Lake Caroline Invitational that took place on Monday and Tuesday at Lake Caroline Golf Club. The Blazers had a team score of 651 (+75) for the tournament. Millsaps won the invitational with a team score of 607. Blue Mountain College and Mississippi College tied for second at 614.

Belhaven was led by Viktor Heurlin who turned in rounds of 75 and 79 finishing with a final score of 154 (+10). He ended the event ninth in the overall individual standings. Ian Lovett followed with rounds of 83 and 78 and recorded a score of 161 (+17) for the tournament putting him in a tie for 26th in the individual rankings. Alex Grote shot 168, Bryce Faulkner fired a 173, and Isaac Tipton with a 175 to round out the team scores. Brad Blakney competed as an individual and finished with a score of 174.

Freed-Hardeman's Travis Ross was the individual winner posting an even score of 144. Ethan Doan of Mississippi College took second shooting a one over 145.

Belhaven will wrap up the fall schedule on October 31st and November 1st when they compete in the University of Mobile Fall Classic.
