Jackson, MS-The Belhaven baseball team opens a three game Gulf Coast Athletic Conference series with William Carey University at 4:00 PM Friday afternoon at Smith-Wills Stadium. The game was originally scheduled for 6:00 PM, but due to the weather forecast for this weekend the teams will play a doubleheader on Friday and a single game on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 PM. This Saturday will also be Senior Day with a ceremony honoring the senior Blazers scheduled to take place before Saturday's first pitch. Belhaven, ranked 10th in the latest NAIA Top 25 Poll, are 34-12 overall and 22-6 in the GCAC.
