Belhaven tacked on two runs in the sixth and seventh innings to put the game away.

Paul Hoffman tossed the final two innings for Belhaven surrendering one run on one hit.
Mike Kelly made the start for Loyola working the first three innings giving up six runs and as a result suffered his first loss of the year. The Wolfpack defense had trouble fielding the ball behind their pitches which led to six of the 12 Blazer runs being unearned. Belhaven scored their 12 runs on 12 hits which was by far their best offensive game of the year up until that point.
The Blazers picked up right where they left off in game one plating four runs in the top of the first in game two to take an early lead.
Brent Hudson had the big hit picking up two RBI's on a two out double of the wall in left field. The Blazers then tacked on another run in the second on a ground out by

Brent Hudson and
Kyle Feazell hit back to back home runs to begin the inning and the Blazers were off and rolling. It was Hudson's second home run of the season and the first for Feazell. Diehl delivered a big two run single in the inning and some miscues by the Wolfpack defense helped ledd to the seven run explosion.
With Belhaven leading 13-2, it looked like the game was all but over. However, Loyola had a different idea. They put together a four run seventh inning to prevent a run rule and get back into the contest. Bobby Alvarez came up with the big hit for Loyola in the inning driving in a pair of runs with a two out single.
Belhaven countered with an unearned run in the eighth when
Josh Bennett struck out, but the ball got away from the catcher Fontenot who then threw wildly to first base. When it was all said and done, Bennett was standing on second base. Dean pinch ran and would eventually come around to score on a fielder's choice to make it 14-6.
Belhaven struggled to get the Wolfpack out in the eighth allowing two more runs to cross the plate making the score 14-8. After a scoreless ninth by the Blazer offense, Loyola scraped together three more runs and had the bases loaded with one out.
