The Blazers lost game one 13-9 but came back in game two and edged Spring Hill by a final of 4-2.
Game One
It looked as if Belhaven was going to pull away with a win in game one as the Blazers jumped ahead against the Badgers 8-1 through two and a half innings of play.
Lake Eiland drove in the first run of the day on a double to deep left center field in the first followed by a
Charlie Edwards RBI single which plated the innings second run.

The Blazers offense then got going scoring six times on five hits and the Badgers committed three errors to help Belhaven's cause. The six run third inning put Belhaven up 8-1 with the Badgers coming to the plate in the bottom of the third.
Spring Hill countered in the third with four runs to get right back into the game. Three of the runs came on a two out three run home run by Brad Holstein. That was the turning point in the game as momentum swung over to the Badgers after Belhaven had controlled the game up until that point. Relief pitcher Quinn Nichols of Spring Hill pitched a scoreless top of the fourth and the Badgers proceeded to put up an eight spot in the bottom of the inning to take the lead 13-8.
Belhaven picked up a run in the fifth on a solo homer over the left field wall by
Brian McCormick making the score 13-9. The Blazers made one last rally attempt in the ninth by loading the bases, but Nichols was able to work his way out of the jam and close out the game and earn the victory.
McCormick and Eiland each had two RBI's to lead the Blazer offense and
Shawn Diehl and
Timmy Foster each scored a pair of runs in the opening game.
Brandt Hinton suffered the loss in his first outing of the season.
Game Two
Like game one, the Blazers got their offense going early striking for a run in the top of the first.
Chanse Cooper led off the game with a single up the middle and then with one out stole second base to get into scoring position.
Timmy Foster then shot a single up the middle sending home Cooper from second base to put the Blazers up 1-0.
Kyle Hunt worked a scoreless bottom of the first to keep the Badgers off the board in their first at bat.
Belhaven kept the pressure on in the top of the second plating two more runs to jump ahead 3-0.
Brent Hudson led off the inning with a single and then
Brent Hudson stepped to the plate and blasted at two run homer over the right field wall. Spring Hill answered with a run of their own in the bottom of the second, when Andy McCall singled home Javier Cherta with two outs in the inning.
Neither team would score over the next three innings and the Blazers 3-1 lead remained intact heading into the top of the sixth. Diehl walked to start the inning and after a fly out by Foster stole second base. With two outs in the inning, Dean wrapped a double down the left field line to score the run and extend the Belhaven lead to 4-2. Blazer relievers
