Livingston, Ala. – The Belhaven Blazers got a little more than they could handle from the University of West Alabama on Saturday night in Tiger Stadium. Junior College transfer Deon Williams connected twice with freshman Gerald Worsham on back-to-back drives with scoring plays from 17 and 28 yards. Down by 14, the Blazers rallied by putting together an 8 play, 58 yard drive that was capped off by a one yard touchdown plunge from quarterback Andrew Carcich. But, West Alabama responded quickly with three more touchdown drives to take a commanding 35-6 lead into halftime.
