This week's C Spire "Blazer Athlete of the Week" is Enrico Patriarca of the men's tennis team. Patriarca, a junior from Assis, Brazil, won all three of his singles matches and improved his record to 10-1 on the season. Patriarca defeated William Carey's Arnau Sanz 7-6, 6-1 followed by a 6-2, 4-6, and 6-3 win over Mobile's Santiago Quiros. Patriarca capped the week by defeating Jackson State's Marko Milosavlevic 6-0, 6-0. Patriarca also went 2-1 in doubles competition. Patriarca was also named the Southern States Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
