Belhaven senior Kathryn Lee has been named the C Spire Athlete of the Week, following her performance at the 2017 American Southwest Conference (ASC) Championships.

Lee set a school record in the 3000m steeplechase at the ASC Championships with a time of 12:50.08, good for first place. The Okotoks, Alberta native also finished sixth in the 5000m with a time of 20:39.02. 

Overall, the Belhaven women's track and field team set four school records and recordedfour first place finishes at the conference championships.
