Ammirati posted a team-high .372 batting average this season with 11 doubles, two home runs, 29 runs and 22 RBI, leading Belhaven to a 26-14 record. Over his four seasons with the Blazers, the third-baseman has recorded 105 hits, 18 doubles, three triples, three home runs, 55 runs scored, 45 RBI and 52 walks while collecting a .316 average, .411 on-base percentage and .416 slugging percentage. The Green and Gold compiled an impressive 121-77 overall record during Ammirati's time on the team.
A member of Belhaven's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), he was named to the 2015 SSAC All-Academic Team and the 2016 and 2017 ASC All-Academic Team, and also earned ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete honors in 2016. Recently, Ammirati was named to the 2017 NCAA Division III CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.
