JACKSON, Miss. - Belhaven senior women's tennis player Caroline Terry has been named the C Spire Athlete of the Week, following her performance at Campbellsville, Ky. in the NCCAA Mideast Regional Semifinals.

Terry was the lone Blazer to record a victory in singles action as the women fell 5-2 to Bluefield College. She rallied to win in three sets after dropping the first set 6-0. Terry claimed the second and third sets by scores of 6-3, 6-4.

The Canton, Miss. native finished the 2017 season with a 13-4 mark in singles action, while the Blazers end the season at 14-6.
