Belhaven University Athletics

One of this weeks "Cellular South Athletes of the Week" is Christian Jaques of the softball team. Jaques, a senior from Orange, TX, helped lead Belhaven to four wins last week including victories over 10th ranked Oklahoma City University and 19th ranked University of Houston-Victoria. Jaques grand slam in the eighth inning sealed the win for Belhave in the UHV game. On the season, Jaques is hitting .395 with three home runs and 10 runs batted in.
