JACKSON, Miss. – Sierra Pittman has been selected as the C Spire Athlete of the Week following her performance from this past week, ending January 2. Pittman led the Blazers with 23 points in the win over Hardin-Simmons on Saturday.

In Belhaven's game on Saturday, Pittman led all scorers in the game with 23 points in the Blazers 60-52 victory over the Cowgirls. She was 8-13 from the field and 7-10 from the free-throw line. She also had three steals and two assists.
 
This is the second time this season that Pittman has been selected as the C Spire Athlete of the Week, also winning the award in December 15.

Pittman and the rest of the Blazers travel to Sul Ross State on Thursday and then Howard Payne on Saturday.
