DECATUR, Ga. - Belhaven broke open a scoreless match with four second-half goals Thursday night, defeating Agnes Scott 4-0 at Gellerstedt Field for its second straight CCS victory.

The Blazers controlled the opening half but could not get past Agnes Scott goalkeeper Olivia Rosario, who saved all four shots she faced before the break. Abby Jordan tested Rosario again early in the second half, then broke the deadlock at 65:08.

Belhaven turned that breakthrough into a three-goal burst in less than six minutes. Hayden Kessler assisted Jensen Ward's goal at 69:13, and Ward set up Destiny Griffin just 1:42 later to make it 3-0. Emma Albarado-LeDay struck the crossbar in the closing minutes before Alexis Whiting capped the scoring at 83:58. Whiting has scored in both of Belhaven's conference matches.

Ward led the Blazers with seven shots, four on goal, and finished with a goal and an assist. Jordan and Kinsey Carter took three shots apiece. Belhaven outshot Agnes Scott 25-0, including 19-0 after halftime, and held an 8-0 advantage in corner kicks. Rosario made 11 saves for the Scotties.

Sidney Roest played all 90 minutes in goal for Belhaven's shutout. The Blazers improved to 3-2-1 overall and 2-0 in CCS play, while Agnes Scott fell to 0-5-1 and 0-1.

Belhaven continues its conference road trip Saturday at Piedmont. Kickoff in Demorest, Georgia, is scheduled for noon.
