Six Blazers Named to CCS Men's Soccer All-Conference Team

JACKSON, Miss. - Belhaven placed five men's soccer players on the 2026 All-CCS teams, led by Defensive Player of the Year Ciaran Colvin and Goalkeeper of the Year Justin Ramirez. Colvin, Ramirez and Ricardo Flores earned first-team honors, while Adrian Sanchez and Wyatt Dupre were named to the second team. CJ Koppeis was selected to the All-Sportsmanship Team.

Colvin earned his third consecutive first team selection. The junior defender started 15 of Belhaven's 17 matches and played 1,243 minutes, the most of any Blazer field player. He added two goals and two assists and was named CCS Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth time in his career on Sept. 29.

Ramirez made 51 saves in 15 starts, posting a .708 save percentage and a 1.42 goals against average. The sophomore recorded three solo shutouts and shared another. He made eight saves in Belhaven's 2-1 win over Piedmont and closed the regular season with four in a scoreless draw at Huntingdon. A Belhaven goalkeeper has now won the CCS's top goalkeeping honor four years in a row; Max Rudoplh began the streak in 2023, followed by Danny Bahena, who received the award in 2024 and 2025.

Flores led the Blazers with six assists and scored three goals, including two game winners. The senior midfielder finished with 12 points in 14 appearances.

Sanchez started all 17 matches and led Belhaven with seven goals, 15 points and 39 shots. The senior forward earned CCS Offensive Player of the Week honors in September.

Dupre finished second on the team with six goals and 13 points. The junior forward put a team-high 20 of his 35 shots on goal in 16 appearances.

Koppeis, a senior forward from Harahan, La., represents the Blazers on the All-Sportsmanship Team and as an honorable mention. He appeared in 16 matches and recorded a goal and two assists.

Belhaven finished the regular season 8-7-2 overall and 2-2-1 in conference play to earn the No. 3 seed in the CCS Championship. The Blazers host No. 6 Huntingdon in a quarterfinal Saturday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m. at Belhaven Bowl Stadium. The winner advances to face No. 2 Covenant in the semifinals Nov. 6 in Huntsville, Ala.
