JACKSON - Benjamin Stewart (Madison, Ala.) of the Belhaven Men's Basketball team and Emma Antonoplos (Jacksonville, Fla.) of the Belhaven Women's Soccer team team have been named the C Spire Athletes of the Week following their strong performances in competition for the Blazers last week.

Stewart, a senior transfer from Mississippi College, had 16 points, five rebounds, six assists and two steals in the team's season-opener last Saturday vs. East Texas Baptist.

Antonoplos, a senior midfielder, led the team to their first-ever CCS Championship, where she was named Tournament MVP.

Stewart and the men's basketball team hosts Southeastern Baptist tonight. Tip-off is set for 7:30 PM.

Antonoplos and the women's soccer advanced to their first-ever NCAA Tournament, where they will play at No. 2 ranked Emory on Saturday at 12:00 PM CT.
