JACKSON - The Belhaven Men's Soccer team is set for another weekend in the Peach State as the Blazers travel to Mount Berry, Georgia for a pair of matches. Belhaven opens up with Berea on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM CT before taking on the host Berry the following day.

The Blazers had a successful trip to Georgia to open the season with a 3-1 win over then-No. 20 Emory and a scoreless draw against SAA favorite Oglethorpe. Since then, Belhaven drew 0-0 with LeTourneau and used a last-minute goal to take down East Texas Baptist at The Bowl.

Berea enters the weekend with a record of 1-3-1 and are coming off of a 2-1 loss at Centre on Tuesday night. The former CCS members have played two teams from the league so far, drawing 2-2 with Maryville and defeating Asbury by a score of 2-1. Belhaven took down the Mountaineers, 3-2, in Kentucky a season ago.

Berry comes in with a record of 2-2-2 but are winners of back-to-back matches after blanking Piedmont, 2-0, and beating Berea, 3-1, on Friday afternoon. The Blazers and Vikings have met once previously back in 2016.

The Blazers earned recognition earlier this week for their early season success, coming in at No. 6 in the United Soccer Coaches Region VI Poll.
