JACKSON, Miss. - The Belhaven Men's Soccer team looks to continue their conference winning streak as they face Asbury University in the Belhaven Bowl Stadium on Saturday, October 5th.
The Blazers come into this matchup with a record of 5-2-3 with a 2-0 conference record. The Blazers are coming off a previous impressive win against Huntingdon in which they won 2-0 in Montgomery. Wesley Bloodworth leads the team with four goals as well as three other Blazers in Wyatt Dupre, Samuel Hadley, and Igor Rudolph, that have two goals each.
This is the first matchup in school history with the Eagles of Asbury, as Asbury has become a new member of the Collegiate Conference of the South ahead of the 2024 campaign.
The Eagles come into this match at 4-3-2 with an 0-1 record in conference play. They are coming off of a previous loss to Piedmont University with a result of 3-4. Salat Kipterit leads their team in goals and is tied for the lead in assists.
The Blazers host Asbury on Saturday night on October 5th as kick off is set for 7:30 PM.
