Box Score JACKSON, Miss. - The Belhaven Women's Tennis team took down Agnes Scott on Saturday as they grabbed their second conference win the of the 2023 season. The Blazers knocked off the Scotties by an overall score of 6-3.

The Blazers improved to 2-2 against Collegiate Conference of the South opposition and 4-5 overall behind a number of strong performances. In doubles action Belhaven picked up a couple of victories as Judith Mills and Evey Moore combined to take down the Scotties in the top matchup 8-1.

Joining Mills and Moore were Lillian Williams and Asia Robinson who also picked up a doubles victory in the #2 matchup with an 8-0 win. 

With a 2-1 lead following doubles action, Belhaven clinched the conference match with a strong finish in singles' play. Judith Mills picked up a singles' win in the top matchup taking down her Scotties' counterpart 6-1, 6-0. 

Lily Grace also picked up a singles' win as she took the #3 matchup 6-1, 6-0 while Lillian Williams sealed her singles' win 6-1, 6-0. Rounding out the individual victories on the day for the Blazers was Asia Robinson who nabbed a pair fo 6-0, 6-0 sets.

The Blazers will now turn their attention to Huntingdon College as they travel to Montgomery, Alabama on Friday, April 7th.
