Box Score DEMOREST, Ga. – The Belhaven Women's Soccer team picked up a big conference win Saturday morning, beating the Piedmont Lions 1-0. The Blazers improved to 3-3-2 (1-1 CCS) with the win.
 
After a scoreless first half, Lauren Snell found the net for her first career goal in the 59th minute to put the Blazers in front. The Blazers' defense held strong over the final 30 minutes to secure the win.
 
Belhaven dominated the Lions in terms of opportunities. The Green and Gold finished with an impressive 22 shots, including eight on goal. The Blazers were also great on the defensive side all game long, holding Piedmont scoreless on nine total shots.
 
The Blazers return to the Bowl on Wednesday, September 28th when they play host to Hendrix College. Kick-off is set for 5 PM.
