Box Score MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Belhaven Men's Soccer team battled to a scoreless draw against Rhodes College on Wednesday as the Blazers competed in the second day of back-to-back matches after picking up a 3-2 win over Centenary (La.) on Tuesday night. 

It was the Blazers who got the first effort on target in the match with a shot from Aleksander Harris that was saved by the Rhodes goalkeeper. Shortly after, the Lynx got a shot on target that was blocked by Jacob Requilman to keep the match scoreless.

At the interval the hosts had created more opportunities but goalkeeper Max Rudolph had been up to the task keeping them out of the back of the net. In the second half the Blazers saw more opportunities created but still were not able to find the breakthrough. Meanwhile, Rudolph continued to keep Rhodes off the board and in the end tallied eight saves, a season-high for the Vestavia Hills native.

With the draw, Belhaven moves to 2-1-3 on the season as they continue to battle non-conference opposition. The Blazers will next head to Sewanee, Tennessee on Saturday, September 17th where they'll take on Sewanee. Kickoff is set for 3 PM.
