JACKSON, Miss. – The Belhaven University men's soccer team has announced the release of their 2022 schedule, which will feature 17 regular season matches in total and six Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) matches. The Blazers will play all nine home matches inside the Belhaven Bowl Stadium.

The Green and Gold will kickoff the 2022 slate with an away match against Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, La. (Aug. 27). Following the season opener, the Blazers will begin their longest homestand of the season with the first match being against Sul Ross State University (Sept. 1). The home stretch will continue with matches against Fontbonne University (Sept. 3), LeTourneau University (Sept. 8), East Texas Baptist University (Sept. 10) and Centenary College (Sept. 13).

Belhaven will then hit the road for Memphis, Tenn. to take on Rhodes College (Sept. 14) and will remain in Tennessee for a match with Sewanee (Sept. 17). The Blazers will return to the Belhaven Bowl Stadium for a two match homestand with the University of the Ozarks (Sept. 23) and will then open up conference play against Berea College (Sept. 24).

The Blazers will then hit the road for a five-match stretch. The road swing includes games at Hendrix College (Sept 28), Maryville College (Oct. 1), Mississippi University for Women (Oct. 4), Covenant College (Oct. 8), and for the final regular season road match against Huntingdon College (Oct. 12).

To close out the regular season, Belhaven will return to the Belhaven Bowl Stadium to take on LaGrange College (Oct.15) and Piedmont University (Oct.22). The match against Piedmont will be Senior Day and Homecoming.
