JACKSON, Miss. - The 2022 Belhaven Volleyball schedule was announced on Wednesday ahead of the Blazers' first campaign in the newly-formed Collegiate Conference of the South. 

This fall will mark the first season under new Head Coach Kody Bivins who joined after spending the 2021 season as an Assistant Coach with Auburn University at Montgomery. 

Belhaven will start the year with an exhibition match against Pearl River CC on August 30th before heading to Austin, Texas for the Austin College/University of Dallas Tournament where they will play a trio of matches against Pacific University, Austin College and the University of Dallas on September 2nd and 3rd. 

On September 9th and 10th the Blazers will return to Jackson to compete in the Millsaps Invitational with four matches scheduled against Concordia (TX), Millsaps, the University of Dallas and Centenary (LA). Belhaven will head to Tougaloo College on September 16th for a double-header where they'll square off against Tougaloo before facing Mississippi Valley State University. 

The Blazers will open conference play in their first ever Collegiate Conference of the South match on the road against LaGrange College on September 22nd. Belhaven then heads to Tennessee to face Maryville College and Piedmont in a double-header on September 24th. 

Belhaven's home opener will come on September 28th when the Blazers host Huntingdon College in Rugg Arena ahead of a double-header home date against Berea College and Agnes Scott on October 1st. 

After their home stand the Blazers will travel to Poplarville, Mississippi for a non-conference match against Pearl River CC on October 4th before a return to CCS action on October 8th with a double-header against Wesleyan College and Covenant College in Macon, Georgia. 

The Blazers will open up their final home stand of the season on October 12th against LaGrange College before a non-conference match against Mississippi University for Women on October 14th. Belhaven's final home date comes on October 15th when the Blazers host Maryville and Piedmont in a conference double-header. 

In their final stretch of the season Belhaven will head to Montgomery, Alabama to face Huntingdon on October 20th before going to Decatur, Georgia to face Agnes Scott and Berea College in a doubleheader. The final day of the regular season for the Blazers will come on October 29th when they travel to Lookout Mountain, Georgia to play Covenant College and Wesleyan College.
