JACKSON - The Belhaven Women's Volleyball team heads into the CCS Quarterfinals as the No. 6 seed, traveling to No. 3 seed Covenant tomorrow night at 5:00 PM.

Record vs. the Scots
The Blazers are 2-6 all-time against the Scots, falling in both matches last month.

Road to the Playoff
Belhaven's 12 wins this season are tied for the second-most since 2017 when the Blazers won 13 matches. They snapped a three-match skid in an October win vs. Huntingdon and had notable wins against MUW and McMurry.

Scots Season in Review
Covenant comes into the CCS Tournament having won 11 of their last 12 conference matches, with only five going past three sets. The Scots finished the year 19-13 with a 13-3 record in CCS play. 

In Megan We Trust
Junior Megan LaCour (River Ridge, La.) finished the regular season with a career-high 263 kills, the fifth-most in the conference. The Blazers are 2-1 this season when she has at least 14 kills in a match.

Hip Hip, Rylee!
Senior Rylee White (Malvern, Ark.) has the third-most blocks in the conference this season (65). She also has a positive hitting percentage in 10 of her last 11 matches

Tarryn Tearing it Up
Freshman Tarryn Woodall (Moody, Ala.) has set career-highs in kills of her last three of her last four matches. Woodall had 10 kills on Nov. 1 vs. Maryville, followed by 11 kills vs. Piedmont and 12 kills this past weekend vs. Millsaps.

Hard to Mirror Miriam
Senior Miriam Ateca (Chattanooga, Tenn.) became the sixth player in program history with at least 1,500 aces this past weekend vs. Mary Hardin-Baylor. Ateca also has 172 career aces, the third-most in program-history, four aces away from second place.

Playoffs!
The Blazers match is the first of two CCS Tournament matches that night. No. 4 seed LaGrange is host to No. 5 Huntingdon at 7:00 PM. The winner of the Belhaven/Covenant match will travel to No. 2 seed Maryville on Friday afternoon for the semifinal match.
