GLADEWATER, Texas - The Blazers continued their fall slate Tuesday in Day Two of the Tempest Intercollegiate. The Green and Gold shot 310 (+22) in the final round to finish the tournament in 10th place.
Freshman
Jake Shmonov topped the Blazers' leaderboard (33rd) in the event, shooting a 76 (+4) in the third round to bring his total to 232 (+16).
Luke Couch fired his best round of the tournament in round three, carding a 75 (+3) to finish at 234 (+18).
Will Justice finished with a combined score of 238 (+22) to place 48th.
Gannon Williams wrapped up his tournament a shot behind Justice to finish in 49th.
Merrick Rotolo finished the second day at +24 after a third-round 82 (+10).
Andrew Scherer concluded play at +31.
Preston Hood finished his debut at +35, while
Ashton Anderson and
Paxton Fishburne each were +44 in the two-day event.
Isaac Wells wrapped up the scoring for Belhaven at +45.
The Blazers return to action next Monday, October 10th when they begin play at the Piedmont Invitational.
