ATLANTA, Ga. -
Kelton Kemp and
Christian Venzen were the only two Blazers' on the Track & Field team to compete in the Emory Final Qualifier.
Kelton and Christian both competed in the 200m and finished with a time of 21.60 and 22.47 respectively. With the time, Kemp etched his name in the record book once again in the 200m. The Hazelhurst, Miss. native also competed in the 400 Hurdles and was clocked at 55.34. Kelton has qualified for NCAA Nationals in the 110 Hurdles and possibly the 400 Hurdles and 200m depending on how everything plays out.
Kelton Kemp is Belhaven's first NCAA National Qualifier.
Kemp will run in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Nationals on May 27-29 in Greensboro, NC.
