LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. -  The Belhaven women's team fell to Greenville University 0-9 and came up short against Covenant College in the second match of the day. With the loss, the Blazers falls to 0-2 to open the season.  

The Blazers found themselves in a hole quickly, losing all three doubles matches against Greenville University. Belhaven could not secure a point in singles play and ultimately fell 9-0 in the season opener. 

In the covenant match, Julia Keffer and Emilie Ferguson picked up a big win in #2 doubles defeating the Scots 8-5. Khin Lwin won her match against Melton 7-5, 6-2 in #3 singles. The Blazers managed to pick up a few wins in the contest but could not overcome the deficit and would fall 7-2 to the Covenant College Scots.

The Blazers will return to the court on Saturday, March 27 to open conference play against the LeTourneau University Yellowjackets. The action is set to begin at 12:00 p.m. at Parham Bridges.
