RICHARDSON, Texas – Anthony Lazzari was named ASC East Offensive Player of the Week following his performance on the field inside the Belhaven Bowl Stadium against the Louisiana College Wildcats this past Saturday.  

The Daphane, Ala. Native scored twice Saturday afternoon as the Blazers shut out the Wildcats 4-0 at home on Senior Day. He scored his first goal of the season in the 16th minute to give the Blazers the 1-0 lead. The freshman scored again in the match in the 89th minute to give the Green and Gold the 4-0 advantage over the Wildcats. On the season, Lazzari scored two goals on five shots in 219 minutes of action.

Lazzari and the rest of the Blazers will return to action on Saturday, March 20 against the LeTourneau University Yellowjackets in Longview, Texas. The action will begin at 3:30 p.m.
