HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Belhaven golf team completed the fall portion of the 2020-21 season competing at the Crusader Fall Invitational at Canebrake Country Club hosted by William Carey University. The Blazers finished fifth in the competition that took place on Monday and Tuesday.
As a team, the Blazers finished the competition with a score of 649 (+73) across the two round in the tournament.
Will Justice led the way for the Blazers with a total of 157 (+13), which placed 15th among all individuals, while
Payton Tuttle finished just one stroke behind with a total of 158 (+14) finishing tied for 16th among individuals. Will and Tuttle had the best scores on the team with both shooting a 78 in the second round on Tuesday.
The Blazers had three other members of the team competing in the tournament.
Jake Clarke finished tied for 21ist among individuals with a two-round total of 166 (+22), while
Cody Anderson finished 24th with a total of 168 (+24) and
Dawson Davis shot a a 185 (+41) and finished 26th.
