MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Belhaven University men's soccer team opened the 2018 season off to a great start, beating Huntingdon College in the Samford Complex by a final score of 2-0 on Friday afternoon. 

The Blazers found the back of the net within the first ten minutes of the ballgame, scoring a goal from Alex Hale. Robert Mims was accredited with the assist. Belhaven led 1-0 just 9:13 into the start of the contest. 

In the 31st minute of play, Tyler White was able to assist Garrett Busby for the Blazers second goal of the game. 

Belhaven shut down Huntingdon College for the remainder of the contest, winning by a final score of 2-0.
