MADISON, Miss. - The Belhaven University women's team dropped their season opening match 6-3 on Saturday against Blue Mountain at Cypress Lake Tennis Club in Madison.

The Blazers picked up two wins in singles play and registered one victory in doubles action.

Jandayia Lubin pulled out a three-set victory at No. 1 singles, and Macey Lea won easily at the No. 5 spot.

In doubles play, Elizar and Lea held on at No. 2 doubles for a close 9-7 victory.
