LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga.- The Belhaven University women's tennis team dropped two matches over the weekend at Covenant and Hanover. The Blazers fell 7-2 at Covenant and were blanked against Hanover by a score of 5-0. 

The Green and Gold are now 0-4 to start the 2018 season. 

 

Katelyn Head snagged the only win in singles action over the weekend at the No. 6 position. Head defeated Mackenzie Jones of Covenant by a score of 6-4, 7-6.

 

Alexandra Furdge and Jandayia Lubin rolled at No. 1 doubles for an easy 8-2 victory over the top pair from Covenant.

 

Belhaven returns to the courts on Friday in Montgomery, Ala. where they will take on Huntingdon at 3:00 p.m.
