JACKSON, Miss. - After a week off from play, Belhaven men's soccer returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 22, hosting ASC opponent Louisiana College. Kickoff inside Belhaven Bowl Stadium is set for 5:30 p.m., following the women's game.
Belhaven (5-7-1) is coming off of a 1-0 overtime win over the University of the Ozarks last Saturday.
Carmine Caruso scored the game-winning goal less than two minutes into the overtime period. For his efforts, Caruso was named the C Spire Athlete of the Week.

Belhaven has leaned on a strong defense that ranks tied for first in the ASC in shutouts (6) and has allowed just 1.15 goals per game.
After a 1-16-1 campaign in 2015, Louisiana College (0-15) has yet to collect a victory this season. The Wildcats most recent defeat came at the hands of Belhaven's rival Millsaps College, whom Louisiana College lost to by the score of 6-1.
The Wildcats have scored just five goals all season while allowing opponents to score 84 times for an average of 5.6 per game.
Belhaven leads the all-time series 10-2 and has won the previous nine matchups, including a 5-1 victory last season.
