JACKSON, Miss. – The Belhaven Men's Soccer Team gear up for a non-conference contest on Saturday night at Scotland Yard, home of the Covenant College Scots.
The Blazers (2-0) will travel to Lookout Mountain, Georgia to square off against defending USA South Conference Champion Covenant at 6:00 p.m.
Belhaven currently holds a 3-2-1 advantage against the Scots in the head-to-head matchup. This is the first meeting between the two schools since August 30, 2008. After claiming the first three matches in the series, the Blazers have yet to win against Covenant since September 14, 1985 (0-2-1).
The Blazers have been peachy in the state of Georgia, holding a 31-17-4 mark against Georgia institutions.
Since the start of the 2012 season, Belhaven holds a 34-10-2 record away from the Belhaven Bowl. The two records that help this cause is an 8-2 road record in 2014 and a 14-1-1 road and neutral record in 2012 (5-1-1 road, 9-0-0 neutral).
