MOBILE, Ala. – The Belhaven Women's Tennis team wrapped up the SSAC Roundup on Saturday with a 9-0 victory over Loyola University.
The Blazers swept through doubles play to begin the match.
AnneMarie Kimball and
Stephanie Smith teamed up for an 8-0 win over Alexa Mancuso and Lauren Rosales, while
Mary Lichlyter and
Rachel Jefcoat also paired up for an 8-0 victory over Wesley Dejoie and Madeline Smith.
In singles action, the Blazers cruised to five points. Kimball picked up a come-from-behind 4-6, 6-3, 13-11 win over Meghan de Baroncelli in No. 1 Singles action.
Lichlyter, and Brittaby Keeling cruised to 6-0, 6-0 and 6-0, 6-1 victories in their respective matches against Rosales and Smih.
Smith won 6-2, 6-0 over Mancuso in singles action and
Ellen Scott rounded out the victories for Belhaven with a 7-5, 6-4 win over Dejoie.
The Blazers will return to action on March 31 with a match against Riverside Drive rival Millsaps College.
