JACKSON, Miss. – The Belhaven Women's Soccer team prepares for its final two matches of the regular season against Howard Payne and Texas at Dallas.
 
Belhaven (4-9-1) will start the weekend with Howard Payne (3-8-2) on Thursday afternoon. The Lady Jackets have never faced the Blazers in program history. Since adding women's soccer in 2006, the Lady Jackets have won 50 conference matches and 75 overall.
 
On Saturday, the Blazers will square off with Texas at Dallas (11-7-0) in a Halloween match. The Comets of UT-Dallas, like Howard Payne, have never faced Belhaven.
 
The Blazers are scheduled to play on Halloween for the second time in program history. The only other time came in 1997, when the Blazers fell at West Florida 2-0 in Pensacola.
 
Belhaven is currently 19-16-2 against institutions from the state of Texas.
 
Both matches are slated for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
