JACKSON, Miss. – The Belhaven Men's Soccer Team prepare for its final two matches of the 2015 regular season on the road as they face Howard Payne and Texas at Dallas.
 
The Blazers (11-3-1) start the weekend at Howard Payne (3-9-1) on Thursday evening. The Blazers have never faced the Yellowjackets in program history.
 
On Saturday, the regular season will conclude with Texas at Dallas (13-2-2). Like Howard Payne, the Comets of UT-Dallas have never faced the Blazers.
 
Belhaven is 7-1 this season away from the Belhaven Bowl and are 49-11-2 in regular season away and neutral matches.
 
Belhaven is currently 40-24-3 against institutions from the state of Texas.
 
The Blazers are scheduled to play in their fifth Halloween match, with their first on the road since 1989. According to acquired records, the Blazers played in 1989 at William Carey, and then they were at home for the next three matches in 1992 vs. Mobile (Ala.), 1998 vs. Thomas University (Ga.) and 2006 vs. Louisiana College. The Blazers defeated Mobile, 1-0 and Louisiana College, 6-0.
 
Both matches this weekend are slated for a 3 p.m. kickoff.
