JACKSON, Miss. – The Belhaven Women's Soccer team will gear up for its final homestand of the 2015 regular season on homecoming weekend against the Ozarks and UT-Tyler.
Belhaven (3-8-1) will look to bounce back from a winless weekend in their second trip to Texas this season with losses to East Texas Baptist and LeTourneau.
On Thursday, the Blazers will face off with their fifth new opponent in conference play, Ozarks. The Lady Eagles (2-8-2, 1-4-0) will be the fourth institution that the Blazers will face from the state of Arkansas. Belhaven will face an institution from the state for the first time since 2011, and have won six of the previous 10 meetings against institutions from the Natural State.
On Saturday, the Blazers will continue the homecoming festivities with UT-Tyler (10-0-1, 5-0-0). The Blazers faced the Patriots last season in their only meeting in program history and fell 4-0. This will be the first visit to Jackson for UT-Tyler in the series history.
