MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Blazer men's tennis squad ran into a tough match against No. 2 Auburn-Montgomery in the final day AUM Spring Invitational. Auburn-Montgomery ran straight through the Blazers without dropping a match to uphold their top notch national ranking.

The Warhawks strut out four players ranked in the top 50 nationally and it showed on Saturday afternoon against a tough Belhaven team.

Belhaven did their most damage in doubles competition, making things tough on the Warhawks at the second and third flights. Jefferson Nino and Daniel Duarte battled to an 8-5 loss against a team that was an SSAC All-Conference duo last year.

Daniel Prado and Enrico Patriarca made things tough on the 12^th ranked combo of Zinelabidine Jouini and Othmane Lalami, but fell in the end 8-4.

The Warhawks won all three singles matches in straight sets to improve to 7-1 on the year and sending the Blazers to a 5-2 record.

Belhaven will return to action against Rust College on Saturday March 23 after the team returns from spring break.
