Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 JACKSON - The Belhaven Men's Tennis put together one of its most complete matches of the spring on Wednesday, knocking off LaGrange 5-2 at home.

The tone was set right away in doubles. Jesus Diaz and Josiah Leggett rolled to a 6-0 win at No. 1, and Harshith Anugonda and Briley Oakes followed with another 6-0 result at No. 2 to secure the doubles point.

That momentum carried into singles.

Anugonda handled the top spot with a 6-3, 6-0 win, and Diaz backed it up with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 2. Oakes continued his steady play this season with a straight-set win at No. 5.

The clincher came from Jack Madden at No. 6. After dropping the first set, he settled in and took control, closing things out with a 10-3 super tiebreak to lock up the team win.

Even in the matches Belhaven didn't win, there was a lot of fight. The No. 3 singles match turned into a long three-set battle that could have gone either way.

The Belhaven women's team ran into a tough LaGrange squad, falling 7-0. LaGrange took the doubles point, with two of the courts decided by forfeit.
