Jackson, MS-The Belhaven women's tennis team ran into some tough competition this week losing to Mississippi College and Xavier University. The Lady Blazers lost the Lady Choctaws 7-2 and the Gold Nuggets 9-0. Mayra Prado defeated Andrea Boyles of Mississippi College in a number 1 singles match 6-3, 6-1. Kristen Kelly and Mary Young took the number two doubles match against MC. Belhaven is now 3-4 on the season and will return to the court on March 3rd in a match with Louisiana College beginning at 6:30 PM. Full match results cna be viewed by clicking on the link below.
