Mobile, AL-The Belhaven women's soccer team closed out the regular season with a 1-0 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference win over the University of Mobile Saturday night at Mobile. The Lady Blazers are now 10-6-1 on the season and concluded 2008 with a 3-4-1 conference mark. The Lady Rams fall to 6-7-4 overall and 3-3-2 in league play.

 

Belhaven's Catherine Dunst recorded the only goal of the night finding the back of the net for her first goal of the season one minute and six seconds into the match. The Lady Blazer defense would then take over from there by limiting Mobile to just eight total shots in the game. Belhaven Goalie Kristin Parson made four saves as she played all 90 minutes in the net. Belhaven's offense fired 14 total shots in the game including eight shots on goal.
