Mobile, AL-The Belhaven men's soccer team saw their season come to a close Thursday night in the semifinals of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference tournament, losing to the University of Mobile 2-0. Both of Mobile's goals were scored in the second half with the first coming in the 47^th minute off the foot of David Delotelle. The Rams iced the match in minute 63 on a goal by Onesimus Ikungo.

 

Belhaven had a hard time solving Mobile's defense as the Rams surrendered just five shots on goal for the entire game. Mobile goalkeeper Jason Williams turned away each of the Blazer shot attempts. Belhaven had a total of 11 attempts during the match. Blazer goalie Zach Wallace faced seven shots on goal stopping five. The Rams fired 19 total shots keeping the ball on Belhaven's side of the field for a good part of the game helping to keep the Blazer offense at bay.

 

Despite the loss, the Blazers finished the year with a 14-4-1 record, which is one of the best in school history.
