Jackson, Miss-Defense dominated the night on Saturday as neither team could find the back of the net as Belhaven and the University of Mobile played to a 0-0 double overtime tie. The Lady Blazers are now 7-4-1 overall and 0-2-1 in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference play. The University of Mobile overall mark now stands at 4-5-3 and 1-1-1 in the GCAC.
Both defenses were solid for the entire match both goalkeepers were able to turn away every shot on goal. Belhaven goalkeeper
Kristin Parson made seven saves throughout the match and Anna Maddox of Mobile turned away four shots in the game.
Sarah Benson had two shots on goal to lead the Belhaven attack.
The Lady Blazers will play their next match at home on Saturday October 18
th against William Carey University beginning at 6 PM.
