Jackson, Miss-The Belhaven men's soccer team will return to “The Bowl” Saturday to battle Reinhardt College in a non-conference matchup which is scheduled to begin at 4 PM. Soccer games in the bowl have a been a tradition at Belhaven for many years and the excitement over the team being ranked 13^th in the latest NAIA Top 25 Poll will make for a great atmosphere on Saturday.

 

The Blazers are 10-0-1 on the season and are led offensively by Juan Rodriguez who has won two consecutive Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the week awards. Rodriguez has ten goals for Belhaven this year and leads the team in that category. Defensively, Zach Wallace has been outstanding in goal for the Blazers. Wallace has allowed only four goals all season with a save percentage of over 90 percent.

The Blazers will play their final three home games of the season at the bowl on Belhaven's campus including Saturday's match with Reinhardt. The other two scheduled matches are with Ouachita Baptist on October 15^th Lee University on October 17^th.
