One of this week's Cellular South Athletes of the Week is Timmy Foster of the Blazers baseball team. Foster, a senior first baseman from Natchez, MS, blasted three home runs, collected seven RBI’s, and went six for nine at the plate for a .667 batting average in two games against Delta State University and Union University. Foster’s slugging percentage was 1.667 in the two game combined. On the season, Foster is hitting .373 with 20 doubles, four triples, five home runs, and has a team high 43 runs batted in. Foster was also recognized as the GCAC Baseball Player of the Week for his efforts in the two contests.
