Salina, KS-Five Belhaven senior football players for the 2009 team will compete in the 2010 College Fanz NAIA Senior Classic All-Star game Saturday afternoon in Salina Kansas. Reginald Lumpkin, Cameron Achord, Eric Ducksworth, DeMorrius Jones, and Shawn Ector will all represent the Blazers in the contest.

Lumpkin, a senior from Magnolia, MS, led the Blazer defense in total tackles with 111 and is now Belhaven's all time career tackles leader with 292. He also broke the Belhaven single season tackles record in 2009. Lumpkin was this seasons Jackson Touchdown Club Top Senior award winner. Lumpkin was one of 10 players to receive this honor which is given to one senior player from each of Mississippi's four year College's and University's that play football. He was also a 2008 and 2009 All-Mid South Conference Western Division Defensive Team Member.

Achord, a senior from Brookhaven, MS, was second on the team in total tackles with 74 and intercepted three passes in 2010. Ducksworth, a senior from Milwaukee, Wisconsin had 23 total tackles with four for a loss. Jones, a senior from Laurel, MS, had 59 total tackles with 4.5 for a loss and 1.5 sacks. Ector, a senior from Hattiesburg, MS, caught 22 passes for 272 yards in 2010. Ector averaged 13 yards per catch and 34 yards per game this past season.
