Hattiesburg, MS-Belhaven volleyball player Christina Jaques was selected as the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for her efforts against Southern University of New Orleans, University of Mobile, Texas Southern University, and Jackson State University this past week.

 

Jaques, a native of Orange, TX, helped guide the Belhaven volleyball team to a 2-2 record this past week which included a GCAC conference victory over SUNO. She had 36 kills, 27 digs, five aces, two solo blocks, and one block assist in the four matches played this week. Jaques leads the team in kills with 221 and total blocks with 52.
