Jackson, MS-Belhaven head coach Lydia Smith and the Blazer volleyball program are pleased to announce the 2010 season recruiting class. The Blazers will have seven new faces on the court this fall and with the outstanding talent returning from last year’s team it should make for an exciting 2010 season.

Jackson, MS-The Belhaven Athletics department is pleased to announce the 2010 women's volleyball schedule. Belhaven is coming off a 2009 campaign that saw the team make big strides as the program continues to build. Belhaven doubled their wins in the 2009 season and finished the year with an 18-20 overall record. The Blazers finished tied for third with Dillard University at 5-5 in the always tough Gulf Coast Athletic Conference and made it to the GCAC Tournament semifinals. The Blazers open the regular season against Xavier University of Louisiana on Saturday August 28th at 3:00 PM. Belhaven will play a second game that day against Alabama State University starting at 5:30 PM as part of the Xavier University Tri-Match.

Jackson, MS-Belhaven volleyball players Christina Jaques and Christina Atwood were both selected to the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference All Conference team when the team was announced by the GCAC over the weekend.
