MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Rhodes scored three times in the first half Tuesday evening to defeat the Belhaven Women's Soccer team 3-0.

Addi Roberts made five saves in the opening 18 minutes to keep the match scoreless.
Alexis Whiting then gave the Blazers their first look at goal, putting a shot on target in the 21st minute that Rhodes goalkeeper Lauren Hollis saved.
Rhodes broke through less than two minutes later. Ella Mullally scored off a pass from Maddie Carter at the 21:45 mark, then added her second goal in the 28th minute with Kyleigh Wilson providing the assist. Audrey Rush finished a pass from Kat Stanley in the 39th minute to make it 3-0 at halftime.
Sidney Roest took over in goal early in the second half and stopped all seven shots on target she faced. She made three saves in a six-minute stretch after entering the match and four more in the final 21 minutes, keeping Rhodes from extending its lead.
Roberts finished with five saves, giving Belhaven's goalkeepers 12 for the match. Whiting recorded the Blazers' lone shot. Rhodes held a 28-1 advantage in shots, put 15 attempts on goal and earned all 10 corner kicks.
Belhaven moved to 1-2-1, while Rhodes remained unbeaten at 5-0. The Blazers return to Belhaven Bowl Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 19, to open CCS play against LaGrange. Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m.
